Sake Review: Jun Tenzan Tokubetsu Junmai

Posted Tuesday February 23, 2010

Quick Stats: SMV +2.0, Acidity 1.8, Seimaibuai 60%, 15% alcohol by volume.

Jun Tenzan is brewed using the clear waters of Mt Tenzan and the best rice from the Saga plains. Unfailingly dry, this sake possesses an ideal balance between sweetness and acidity and is well bodied and textured. Serve chilled, room temperature, or try slightly warmed - not hot!.

Price: $46 for the 1.8-liter bottle found at H-Mart
